Our mission
Your support of our organization, is primarily needed for these four key initiatives.
The TN United Basketball Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, providing you the ability to make tax-deductible gifts. As a donor, you will receive monthly emails highlighting how your support is making a difference. Your help provides the needed assistance in the following areas:
Leaders to Lead - Staffing: TN United’s first goal is to hire MINISTRY/Programming Directors as the program leaders. Our athletes’ success is dependent on strong leadership. Foundation leadership will be provided with developmental and educational resources so they may succeed in their roles. The short-term goal is to have three full-time employees by the end of 2024. The long-term goal is to build up to 45 coaches throughout the program. We need to retain our great staff each year.
Places to Play - Facilities: TN United is dependent on providing its athletes with the area’s best facilities for their athletes’ growth and success. The cost of renting these facilities exceeds $35,000 a year. While renting the nearly 15 Tennessee public and private school gyms is costly, it can be made possible with continued support and donor engagement.
Players to Play - Financial Assistance for Athletes: In the next 36 months, TN United will provide over $20,000 in scholarships to families who otherwise could not have participated with TN United program.
Community Give Back: TN United is committed to supporting the communities serving its mission by providing free annual clinics. Basketball is a unifying sport, and as any sport, comes at a difficult cost to many families. TN United’s community clinics will bridge the gap for families in need and enable their young athletes the experience of a lifetime.
